You also have to ensure that the permissions are set at the top of the *tree* - ie the network administrator has to ensure that the rights/permissions within Exchange are set to match what you and your boss have set on your workstations. I know, I struggled with this for days in a previous life! OT - My apologies if any of you received "mail returned to sender" messages from my email account yesterday. Unbeknown to me my ISP has instigated mailbox size limits and all our jolly banter re wordperfect, car insurance, the merits of excel etc etc has clogged me up! All's ok now as I have cleared out the backlog so you shouldn't get any further error messages. My boss wanted to share his calendar, so he went in and set us all up with reviewer permissions. We were able to view his calendar by performing a File, Open and typing in his name, but when we tried to add him to the folder list, using the Tools, email accounts options, it would not let us expand his mailbox to see the calendar. I finally figured out that he had to set permissions at the Outlook Today mailbox level first, then set the permissions on the calendar. This worked, but is this the correct way this has to be done. We can only see his calendar, not his inbox or anything else, just wanted to check that this was the correct way to do this. Thanks, Christine McDonald ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
