Hi Ray...I'd be curious to see this answer too, if there is one....I'm able
to move the box off the slide if I drag it to the left or to the right, or
off the bottom of the slide...but not off the top. But, since moving the
box off the slide seems to be what you want to do, why not just move it to
one of the other locations? Is there a reason it HAS to be off the top of
the slide?

Problem solved. You people are great!
My residual question is only of academic interest at this point, but I am
curious: How does one move a very tall text box completely off the top of a
slide? When I tried it using the small handle at the middle of the top
border, I was able to move the text box upward only a few lines at-a-time.
The handle on the bottom border had no effect at all in trying to move the
box
upward.
