Hi Colin ... in my opinion, Outlook 2007 is definitely slower than 2003 ...
I downloaded a patch from Microsoft that fixes a few things ... one of them
being performance ... and it did help some, so you might want to try it ...
can't hurt.  But, bottom line is you need about 2 gig of ram for the Office
2007 programs to perform half decently (and I emphasize "half" ... so far, I
am not impressed).

Can anyone help please - I have Office pro 2007 installed but the OUTLOOK
programme reacts so S L O W L Y it can take 10 -15 seconds for the cursor to
move to the next item. I have un-installed, re-installed twice but nothing
improves. The Laptop is new Inspiron 6400 with Office 2007 on Windows XP. I
am at a loss. Please help.
