No ... don't delete it. Go to Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs and
uninstall it from there.
I have Office 2003 (which is Office 11) installed with Office 2007, so I
don't think having two versions at once is a problem, as long as you don't
have two versions of OUTLOOK installed ... that's a definite no-no ... but
I'd definitely uninstall that Windows Desktop Search and see if that fixes
your problem

I have looked in the Program files and find I have an Office 10 and an
Office 12. Should they both be present? I have found that Windows desktop
search - can this be deleted from its Program File location?
