Hi Carol, Have you tried . . . Creating the table in Word, rotating the text direct by -90 degrees, then copying to the clipboard. Once you get to the PowerPoint slide Edit->Paste SPECIAL, and then choose the option that says Paste as Microsoft Word Document Object. I think this will solve your problem! I have searched and searched and no solution. PowerPoint Table. Options allow you to rotate text +90 degrees (right) . I want to turn it -90 degrees (left or three right turns if you prefer). I know about text boxes and labels and shapes and etc etc. I have also tried copy and pasting from word and excel. Unless you copy and paste as a 'graphic' the text defaults back to horizontal. I just want to be able to turn text to the left inside the table cell. PowerPoint Beta 2003 doesnt have this option either - of if it does its 'hiding' someplace. Has anyone come up with an 'easy' way of doing this? Thanks much.
