You can also create and save the following macro, which will rename the
active sheet.
Sub RenameSheetBasedOnCellValue()
Range("A1").Copy
Range("A1").PasteSpecial xlPasteValues
ActiveSheet.Name = Range("A1").Value
Application.CutCopyMode = False
End Sub
It works for me in Excel 2003 and 2007...
