So, for two hours I've been compiling a mailing list from various sources into a word file that can then be exported to the stuff I really use. At any rate, I got up to attend to something, and thought to myself "Self, you ought to save that file", but as the call was strong, I couldn't find time for command-S. Yeah, I deserve it. However, in my trash is a recovered excel file that I have pulled out of the trash. Attempting to open it causes that annoying paperclip to tell me that it is the wrong format. Is there anything I can do? I bet not, but wanting to live without consequences, I'm hoping there is.
