Winnie
On rereading your original email it looks to me as though you may be trying
to force line breaks in your Outlook emails. I'm not sure why you wish to
do this - the autowrap text facility will do that for you automatically.
I'm equally unsure why you would want to use Word for emails - any of the
gurus around here will tell you that it's a flabby way to send email and you
would be better using plain or rich text.
Unless I'm missing the point? Perhaps if you could explain WHY you wish to
control putting line breaks in certain places then we might be able to help
better.
Word (and PCs for that matter) doesn't behave like a typewriter. You don't
need to tell it when to turn to the next line. That's all automated.
Hope that helps.
Anne

I don't know that phrase, but if it means using the shift at the same time
as
The "enter' - no, it didn't work.
