[mso] Re - Can I extract Data from a Word table..

Further to my question set out below, I have been working on this and am
making a little headway. I have found out how to copy a Word table to Excel by
using the 'Import external data' and using the Transpose function I can move
all the material from a Column to a Row. This is very cumbersome so if anyone
can suggest a better way, I would be pleased to hear form you, Thanks
Subject: [mso] Can I extract Data from a Word (table) .DOC to an .XLS chart

-0400 (EDT)Hi all, My boss has just dumped a problem on me, and if anyone can
help my friends here can!! Since the year dot, it seems, quotations have been
created in a Word document table, and now someone thought it would be a good
idea to extract the data from the last x months and draw meaningful comparisons
etc. Before I get someone to go through it all the long way, I thought I would
ask if someone can suggest a way to speed the process. I thought maybe I could
copy and save the table into an Excel or .csv file but my initial experiments
have failed. If anyone has a suggestion I shall be very grateful, thanks, Roger
