[mso] Re: Publisher and default printer

I use publisher quite a lot and also have several printers. Because I
usually print Publisher documents in color and most of the others in B&W
only, I find it very helpful that Publisher remain pegged to the color
printer. If it didn't stay that way, each time you "publish" a new
color document it will print to your B&W printer and you will have to go
back in and change back to the color printer then print the document
again. And trust me; you will not remember to change to the color
printer each time before you print.

Hope this helps

Subject: [mso] Publisher and default printer=20

Hello world,

I have a problem with Publisher : I got a new PC at work a couple of=20
weeks ago. I first installed and configured Windows XP (SP2) and=20
Office (2003). There was only the default printer (let's call it=20
"Printer A") at that stage, then I installed a couple of other=20
printers and chose one of them (let's call it "Printer B") as the=20
default printer.

All apllications, including MS Office apps, accepted Printer B as=20
default, except Publisher, which keeps recalling Printer A as=20
default, and I have to change it manually each time I print something.

I can't seem to find any setting in Publisher that would "overrun"=20
the default printer set in Windows, so I'm lost.

Any idea ?

Tia

Anne
