Hi guys, I hope you can help me with a problem I'm having with Publisher 2007
on an XP Pro SP3 machine, (and I hope it's not a bug).
I have problems that I can't seem to resolve.
I've created a Publisher document with a custom size page 5"h x 7"w. It is a
two page document, the first page has a full-bleed background image, over which
I have two text boxes (with no fill, i.e., transparent) The text is printed
with yellow letters.
Problem #1: When I publish to PDF, the text becomes black instead of yellow.
Problem #2: the resulting PDF file results in a 5x7 image on an 8x11 page.
To correct the?first problem, I converted the text boxes to images (.PNG with
transparent background)
Problem #3: When published to PDF, the text is yellow alright, but the
transparent area is not transparent, but looks like a text box with a white
background, and problem #2 remains.
Problem #4: When published to XPS, the text areas look like it's supposed to,
but problem #2 remains, e.g., results in 8x11 size page
Can anyone help me fix ALL of these problems ... I need to submit is
publication to a printer who needs PDF format.
Larry
