[mso] Re: Printing UPC to Label printer

Yes, I can print text and from text files. I can make a file (all text) in
Word and it will search that list, say the longest name on that list is
"Katerinaskeyee" and make the tape all the same size. When I use numbers to
print bar code, Brother blames "The application used to generate the
numbers is not UPC compatiable." With a message like that, I am not sure
where to start looking for the solution. I can print UPC numbers just fine,
one at a time, so it +IS+ printing.

I am using Excel to make the UPC numbers, which Brother claims I have not
set to UPC format. I have no idea what that is. I made the numbers,
exported as text, opened the PT-Touch, -try- to import, and that message
"the application used to generate the..." pops up. Assuming I can set Excel
to save in UPC format, does anyone know how?

Linda- I am not sure at this point if I am asking a Brother question or an
Office question. If you deem it off topic, I will not ask about it again.
Since it originally blamed me for not exporting from Excel in UPC, I
thought I would see if anyone knows how to export to that format. I sure
have not found that.

Anthony- I can print the numbers Excel made- as text. Only when I try to
print them as UPC does the gadget blame the originating software. This is
not a Receipt printer, it is a label printer.

Thank you.
