I can handle that one! The Photo Album is built into PPT 2002 (XP) and 2003.
There is an add-in available from the Microsoft site if you want to add it
to PPT 2000.
That said, I prefer other methods. If you use PPT's Photo Album, it places
the pictures into autoshapes. This severely limits what you can do with the
pictures. (For example, you can not use the cropping tool on them and the
picture will be either distorted or cut off if it doesn't fit the shape
correctly.) I also find the interface not quite as easy to use as it could
be.
So, what do I use instead? I use Shyam Pillai's Image Importer Wizard. It
and other versions of this same functionality (including a new one for Mac
PPT 2004) are described on this PPT FAQ page:
