Yes, that's the color scheme I have found to be most reliable for
PowerPoint when presentations are to be projected. Ambient conditions and
projector quality are *big* variables.
A good thing too is to avoid some of the text formatting effects, for
example, "shadow" (most of all in fonts with serif) and "embossed". Also,
keep your font variety to a minimum, and choose carefully your transitions
and animation effects. IMHO, in Powerpoint, the simpler the better. It's
very easy to clutter up a presentation and lose its impact and effectiveness.
Be careful, also, of colors and sizing in non-photo images.
And take a look at Taj's site, it's really worthwhile.
