[mso] PowerPoint: Return from information slides?

It seems that I am going to have several "information" and "help" slides.
Right now, I have those slides as single stand-alone slides, so when that
slide is finished it can return to the "sending slide."
Several slides are alike, basically saying "This button is disabled for
this slide." and a button to return you to the slide that sent you there. I
tried using the Action Setting "Return," but I guess I don't understand its
intent. It is taken me to a slide other than the slide that sent it there,
which isn't what I had intended. (Gee, I hope that made sense!) Can anyone
tell me what I probably did wrong? I am sure it is a rookie mistake.
Thank you.
Robert
