[mso] PowerPoint: Rapid Browsing?

In Paint Shop, there is a feature called Browse which will list all the
graphic files in a folder thumbnailed for you. I have collected several
blank background for Powerpoint, but did not pay any attention to the name
as it was downloaded. A name like "K4Snx9qBlue" is meaningless to me,
except that it is probably blue. <g>
Can/will Powerpoint open several one page files at the same time so the
user can look for the background s/he is trying to find?
Thank you.
Robert
