Actualy, that's not true...some of my 2002 presentations give me an error that it comptains read-only embedded fonts and I can't edit it...not sure what that's about...but it doesn't lock me up...I just can't edit that presentation...but my workaround is opening a new presentation in 2003 and importing all the slides in from the 2002 presentation, then I can edit it fine.
