[mso] PowerPoint 2007 Crashes When Printing

I have a rather large process map that we built in PowerPoint 2007. When we
print it out using PowerPoint 2003, we don't have any problems. When we
attempt to print it out using PowerPoint 2007, it crashes. We saved it as a
PDF and were able to finally able to print it out using the Save As PDF
function from within PowerPoint 2007. Has anyone else faced these issues?
The program crashed when we sent it to print to a Brother MFC machine and
also an HP DesignJet.
