It's starting to. I will work on this over the weekend. Thanks so much for
your time.

You don't group the animations, you group the two shapes and then apply the
animations to the group. Here is what I did to make it work:
1) Put your clock on the slide.
2) Draw a circle the same side of the clock.
3) Move the circle to just above the clock (best is to line it up so that
the bottom of the circle's space is aligned with the top of the clock's
shape)
4) Group the two shapes
5) Apply an arc down animation to the group (it's one of the pre-built
motion paths) The arc will be much bigger than you want it to be, so...
6) Click the red end of the motion path and bring it in towards the green
end
7) Flatten the motion path as you need
8) Right click the animation and select effect options. On the effect tab,
make sure that the Auto-reverse box is checked. On the timing tab, make sure
that the rewind box is checked and that repeat is set to end of slide.
You will probably need to play around some to get exactly the amount of rock
you want. Once you have the rocking correct, then click where the circle is
to select it and right click--> Format autoshape. Set the shape to have no
line and 100% transparency.
Does that make more sense?

I have a round clock on my slide that I would like to apply animation to
make the clock swing side to side (in a tick tock motion). I don't want the
whole clock to move, just swing a little to the left, then back to center,
to the right, and then back to center. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you. Suzanne DiMarco Desktop Solutions
