As long as you properly registered your version, either via online
registration or sending in the card that comes with many programs, MS will
have your key on file.

So be SURE to click Help/About and WRITE DOWN the Product ID number that
will appear with your name and company, if applicable. Then you can call
Microsoft at 800-936-5700, explain the problem, give them the product ID
number and they will regenerate a Key for you...as long as they find your
registration in their database.

Tip! Open all your MS programs...click Help/About and take a screen shot of
the dialog box by hitting Alt + the Print Screen button. Nothing will seem
to have happened, but a picture of that dialog was taken. Then open a blank
Word doc, hit Ctrl/V and that picture will be pasted into the doc. Do that
over and over to get a copy of all your product IDs. Then save that doc and
keep it in a safe place. OH...and be sure to print a copy, so when your
computer crashes<eg>...you'll have the info, as the electronic file won't be
readable if Word won't open! ;-)

 Because of the WONDERFUL saving properties of Publisher 2002 I am running
BOTH Publisher 2002 AND 2000.  I have been trying to organize my office and
have discovered that I have the manual for 2000 and the license agreement
but NOT the CD code that I would need if I ever needed to reinstall 2000.
Is there a place to find this on my installed program or should I just pray
that my computer never crashes?
