That's one of the things I was afraid of: You are running on a Mac. I know
very little about PowerPoint problem solving on the Mac. But I know a couple
of places that you can find more on PowerPoint on the Mac:
1) The PPT FAQ has a Mac specific section. URL is:
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/#MacFAQs
2) The Mac PowerPoint group has its own newsgroup. While it isn't a reply by
mail group like this one is, it will get you in touch with the best and the
brightest of the Mac world. That link can be found on this PPT FAQ page:
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00315.htm
Just for grins, I did a quick Google Groups search on your problem. It has
the same root cause as the error's I asked about: Your computer has run out
of what is called "temporary space". (Yeah, that "temp space" I referred to
in question 5.) This is the space on your hard drive where stuff is stored
for short term use. Unfortunately, the files aren't always cleaned up when a
program is done using it. According to the Google Groups post I found:
<begin quote>
Try finding and deleting your PowerPoint Temp Files.
They are located in your HD:System Folder: Preferences: or HD:System Folder:
Preferences: Microsoft.
You will want to delete any file that is PowerPoint Temp (they are numbered
files)
<end quote>
Hope this helps some!

1) I'm running system 10.2.8 on a 15" flatscreen Imac and using PPT for :X
2) I created the first slide off a design template, customized it
and am duplicating each for each successive slide. I have basic line
drawings on them.
3) I get no error message, only the "the application has unexpectedly quit"
4) I've got everything else shut down, no other apps running.
5) Don't understand this question??
