[mso] Re: Outlook text wrapping (was To Anne - re caps at beginnings at lines)

Hi Winnie

I'm not sure I am the best person to answer this. If it's your outgoing
emails that aren't being text-wrapped then your settings may need to be
adjusted. I've found this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823921/en-us in
the Outlook knowledge base in so far as it relates to Outlook emails. You
may feel a little nervous about changing your registry settings, but there
are people on this list who will give you further guidance should you need
it.

But I repeat that you shouldn't really use Word for emails as it is too
*fat* for the purpose of sending text.

Stick with Outlook though. You will get there in the end. Just try to use
it instinctively and see what happens. And you can always tell your email
contacts to set their own email viewers to wrap text at their end!

Subject: [mso] To Anne - re caps at beginnings at lines

Hi Anne,
Thanks for your response. I'm new to Outlook
(having used T-bird for years) and
Having a bit of a problem getting used to the
differences. I'm not used to the long
Lines - and I've gotten complaints from
people who don't like to scroll from side to
side.

I guess I prefer to control my text myself
rather than having Outlook decide where
My lines break and where to put caps.

Can you (or anyone) suggest a good book on
getting used to Outlook ---- or perhaps
I should consider this a failed experiment
and revert to my old email program. Guess
I can't quite understand how Outlook benefits
me, although I really like the contacts,
Calendar and notes sections.
