Hi John,
A plethora of options awaits you :) You can write your message and then
simply click on the paper clip (attach sign), and browse for the
document you want to attach or
If you have the document (say word) that you want to attach open; click
on File-->Send To--->Mail Recepient (As Atttachment), and you are good
to go....
If its contained in the whole email, you have clicked file-->send
to-->mail recepeint, the difference is in the "..(As Attachment).." bit.
Hope this helps

Hello All
If you wish to add a file to an email message in outlook, how do you
make
sure it ends up as an attachment instead of being contained in the main
body
of text. (Obviously a wrong button has been pressed at some time!!!!)
Any help greatly appreciated.
regards
John
