Ok...this is my last post for about a week....gotta get my butt moving here,
getting ready for vacation (WOOO HOOOO)
Anyway...when you uninstall/reinstall Outlook and you've saved your rules,
they DO work to a point, but not completely...if you look at them in the
Rules Wizard, you will see everything is there EXCEPT the reference to the
folder where you want the mail moved...and that reference needs to be
re-setup...I know it's a PITA, but it happens to me everytime I import my
rules into a new installation of Outlook...I guess Microsoft assumes the new
install may not have the same folder structure, so it unassociates the rules
with any particular folder....once you make sure all your rules are pointing
at folders that do exist, they *should* work fine.
Bye gang...have a great week...I know I will :-)

Subject: [mso] Outlook Rules problem
Hi,
I have a small problem. I had to reinstall Windows XP pro and so I
formatted my hard drive. When I reinstalled Office XP pro my rules were
not working. I had to set them all again and for a time they seemed to
work. Now all of a sudden they aren't working again. I did a detect
and repair but that didn't help.
Is there anything I can do to make them work without uninstalling the
Office program and reinstalling it?
Rose
