Christine....you don't need to "export" your folders to psts....your
outlook.pst file already includes all your folders and contacts,
calendar, etc. All you need to do is copy the outlook.pst file on the
old machine, then put it on the new machine and point Outlook 2002 to
it, the first time you open Outlook 2002.
You might want to go into the Rules wizard on the old machine and click
on the Options button and choose to export your rules to a floppy, then
go to the new machine and do the reverse and import them into the rules
wizard there, since the rules are not part of the pst. But, be warned
that the rules will come thru, but they will all have to be reassociated
with the folders again on the new machine..but at least you won't have
to write them all from scratch.
This is fairly simple and usually goes pretty smoothly....I've done it a
few times now.

Subject: [mso] Outlook PSTs
Hi, I'm using Outlook 2000 on Win 98 machine right now. I'm getting
ready to set up my new computer, which will have Outlook 2002 on a Win
XP machine. If I export my all my folder to psts, do I then have to
set up the new folders and import the messages, or can I just copy the
exported psts to the new computer and point to them in outlook?
Thanks, and I'll probably be asking lots of questions in this
switchover. Here's hoping there's no problem setting up the ISP. <g>
