Jan ... you didn't say whether the fix Kathy posted worked for you. It does appear to address the exact problem you are having ... it seems to be a known issue. Did you try this? Since my first post yet another senior call me with the same problem. Both of these only occurred after installing the latest Office student edition. I followed Ray's suggestion about going into Express, tools, options, spelling (actually did this before I made the original post as well) but the only thing listed on the drop down menu is "French Dictionary". Actually that was how I knew the language was not English. On one of my computers, which is running Office 2003, when I click in the spelling area of Express at least six different language options become available...this is not so with those who are having the problem. Please, offer me a solution, these seniors are about to make me go bald! Thanks, Jan ************************************************************* ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu at the top.
