Thank you both, Kathy & Ray,
I too am familiar with the WinTips group, but I felt this was a very
definite issue of Office. Since my first post yet another senior call me
with the same problem.
Both of these only occurred after installing the latest Office student
edition.
I followed Ray's suggestion about going into Express, tools, options,
spelling (actually did this before I made the original post as well) but the
only thing listed on the drop down menu is "French Dictionary". Actually
that was how I knew the language was not English.
On one of my computers, which is running Office 2003, when I click in the
spelling area of Express at least six different language options become
available...this is not so with those who are having the problem.
Please, offer me a solution, these seniors are about to make me go bald!
