LOL Peter....I can only imagine...you should have seen the list Vic and
I whipped up to send to freelists so they could bounce spam and porn
from this list for me....I had them freelists boys blushing for sure

You better believe they think of me in a whole new light now LOL

But..I agree....rules work way better than the junk mail filter...I
think it stinks at best, myself

Ah Ha.. so then Junk Filters and "Rules" are two different things.

This is where I got screwed up.=20

In any case what I've done ain't so bad then. I created a Junk "Rule", =
and it traps the junk fairly well. You're right though. I opened the =
file "Filters.txt" (didn't try to edit it) and it DID look a little =
flaky. I think my "Junk Rule" might trap more than what they have in the
=
standard junk filter.=20

Well thank you very much Mr. Colin McDonald. I am keeping your post in =
my "keep" folder in Outlook so if I need to I can reference the files.

I whish there was a way to share / exchange my keywords with everyone. =
They're that good!

Thanks again for your time.

The filter text is contained in a file called filters.txt in a default
directory

Mine is in Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office10/1033 (but the 1033 is
a country code)

Apparently you can edit this file, although when I tried, it did not
seem to work. However as the junk mail list itself seems somewhat flaky,
who knows!!
