Hi group,
I am having a problem opening a .pst file in Outlook 2003. I first made a
backup of my Personal Folder using the export to .pst File Wizard. At the
last stage of the Wizards it asked me for encryption settings and password.
I set the Encryption settigns to 'No Encryption' and left the password field
blank.
When I want to open the created .pst folder on another computer also running
the same version of Outlook I first started geting the follwing error:
Access Denied
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? (Sewlecting Yes or no
did not help)
I then started to recieve the follwing error:
The file .pst is not compatible with this version of the Personal Folders
information service. Contact your administrator.
I researched this error but it seems it only appears when using to differnt
versions of Ms Outlook. Since all my computers are running the same version
of Outlook, I guess the error involves the encryption and password settings
of the .pst file.
Pls help!
