[mso] Outlook 2003 crash

I'm having probs with my Outlook on both of my 2 profiles. Today it crashed
again in the middle of a very long and complex email, which didn't get saved
to drafts so I have to start from scratch - unless anybody can suggest where
I might find the Outlook equivalent of the autorecover file that you get in
Word, if there is such a thing.
Generally I'm concerned about Outlook crashing so often lately. I've got
all the service packs, it's a legit copy and my folders aren't that big, as
I have a number of separate PSTs for storage so my main outlook.pst is only
363 MB which seems ok?

The problem does seem worse when it's in send-receive mode and there are
large files to be downloaded, could that be something to do with it?

On my other profile I have suddenly lost all my message rules as there was a
system message the other day which announced it was only possible to have
one set of rules (I only HAD one set) so all my own ones have been removed.
I wonder if I will get them back if I do a system restore prior to the rules
deletion?

Any suggestions for solutions will be much appreciated! I'm going to type
my email in Word then copy-paste it over for safety!

Anne
