I can't think of an easy way at the moment but one thing you could do is
create an extra contacts folder and then apply a filter to your existing
contacts folder (View -> Current View -> Customise Current View) to =
filter
out all the contacts in the category you are interested in.  Copy the
filtered contacts to your extra contacts folder and then create your
distribution list, you can select the new contacts folder and safely add =
all
the contacts that are in that folder.
