Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum (signed up yesterday, after looking for help with
Outlook).
I recently bought a new Pc, with Windows XP Professional, and decided to
switch to Outlook. I used Express, and was very comfortable with it, but
I want to use the additional features you can get with the Outlook, and
need help setting it up.
I created my folders, but can't figure out how to create "rules" so that
emails sent to certain email addresses (groups I belong to) will go into
the appropriate folder.
Is there an easy way to do this (direct email to designated folders)?
Also, tha same principle goes when I want to send junk email to the
"Deleted" file, right?
I went into Tools --> Organize --> Junk E-mail and turned on the junk
and adult filters, but they get a lot of my good emails branded as such.
Some of the emails coming from one person are OK, and some of the emails
from that same person are tagged as junk: is thre an explanation?
One last thing (Promise!): when I transferred the emails from Express,
some emails came in up to 4 times, so now I have about 5000 emails: is
there an easy way for me to delete the duplicates (triplicates, etc.)
without having to read each email individually?
I appreciate any kind of help you can give me.
Thank you.
