Hi David, Yes, I do mean Gig.  I guess that shows how old I am or how much of a 
novice.  It's VERY kind of you reply and help me with my problem.  I'll search 
the web for a repair program and see how that does.  If that fails, I think 
I'll try upgrading to Outlook 2007.  I would assume the file size limitation 
would be removed from that as well.  Please let me know if you've heard
