[mso] Re: Outlook 2000 loading, but not showing?

Robert,

I have experienced this fairly frequently. As far as I was aware, Outlook
2000 can only open one instance (I am surprised that Elise says she has had
more than one instance running). It usually happens to me when I have
double-clicked over-enthusiastically!

My solution is usually to open Task Manager and to close each instance of
Outlook.exe in turn (starting from the bottom) until one is left. Outlook
usually opens immediately without a problem once all the duplicate instances
are closed.

This may been a 'known feature' of Outlook 2000. I can only say that I
still experience it with Outlook 2003.

Andrew
