[mso] Re: Outlook 2000 & 2003: Request Read Receipt Button

A quick search of groups.google.com for OUTLOOK VBA "READ RECEIPT" gives me
this thread near the top. Didn't take time to read it all...but it might be
what you need???

Subject: [mso] Outlook 2000 & 2003: Request Read Receipt Button

I would like to have a button on my toolbar which painlessly allows me to
request a Read Receipt for an individual message. I can, it is true, check
the box in Options and to that end have an Options button on the toolbar,
but that seems way too much hassle for a simple thing. I can find no
mention in the Commands section of Customize of Request Read Receipt.

It beats me that, while I can easily set Priority and Follow-up, I cannot as
easily request a Read Receipt. Too many people (in our company, at least)
have Request Read Receipt set On by default. This is annoying to such an
extent that at least one of our managers has filtered them out completely,
so it is useless to ask him for confirmation (except in the body of the
message)! I would like to change this situation, while making it relatively
painless for someone to ask for a receipt if it's really required.

If you Outlook gurus know of a way of doing this, please could you give
instructions for 2000 and 2003 - I use the older version at work and the
newer one at home. I am prepared to believe that it is only achievable with
a macro, in which case, it has to be a macro which I can deploy for people
to install themselves - with carrot attached.
