But Peter...don't you have to OPEN the email before you can do this?  I
believe Steven is looking for a way to convert it BEFORE he opens it.  I
just right clicked on an html mail in one of my folders and I have no "view
source" from there.

If I understand you correctly, yes.  In fact, this was possible in XP as
well.  If the message is HTML, just right click and "view source."
