Also in addition, try to increase the paging file size a little...which will
increase the memory to some extent...

I have also had that - could be a corrupted install  -  try to re-boot first
if it doesnt fix it - might want to try HELP menu then detect and repair -
have the install disk handy   This should fix the corruption -

I have been receiving error messages using Excel 2000, and the error
messages 
have been occuring often, if not every time, I try to open certain files.
The 
error message is as follows:
 
The Instruction at "0x303c2986" referenced memory at "0x0000000b".
The memory could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the program. 
 
Is their any advice that can be given to correct this problem?
