[mso] Re: Office 2003 Clipboard

give this a try:

If you do not want the Office Clipboard to appear when you copy or cut two
consecutive items, try this trick.

1. Open Word.
2. Click on Edit - Office Clipboard. This displays the clipboard in the task
pane.
3. Click the Options button at the bottom of this task pane.
4. Untick the option to "show office clipboard icon on taskbar".
5. Untick the option to "show status near taskbar when copying".
6. To prevent it appearing, untick "show office clipboard automatically",
and "show office clipboard when Ctrl-C pressed twice".
7. Click the X at the top of the task pane to close it.

When needed, call up the office clipboard manually by clicking on Edit -
Office Clipboard. Then cut or copied text and other items will appear on the
clipboard, ready to be pasted later.

New computer. How do I get the Office clipboard to not automatically
display? I can go to options and uncheck the box, but it keeps coming
back.
