Sorry<smirk> about that! But know that they ARE planning to redirect it all. But yes, many of us have already voiced concerns about their track record on this subject and how well this new idea will be handled.<sigh> But it's a done deal, so not much that can be done at this point, but to hope for the best and let MS know if it turns out for the worst. But do know that the numbers won't REALLY be changed for 2 years, or something like that. (I'd have to check the exact schedule.) So for NOW the old Q numbers should still get the same info. After a couple years, the old Q numbers will no longer work. So old stuff you'd find in a search directing you to find Q##### would no longer be a hit in an MS search. For now...and for the coming years, it WILL work with an, ahem, Microsoft Redirect. But do know that the inability of Microsoft to properly keep up with all their URL redirects in an issue that is often tossed back in their face. So you're not the only one suffering (although you'll also note you won't find many MS URL links on any of MY sites<g>). And yes, knowing this was coming was one reason why I was inwardly giggling about that site that provides all those KBs links. They have a little work ahead of them. I tried to follow it and was taken to an article on unversioned files won't update. I copied it from the info I received from MS, but I'll go check it. <whispers> Note that, ahem, don't tell Linda, but Microsoft just changed ALL their KB numbers! I'll let ya know, but I THINK there's also a link I saw to it somewhere in the other pages?
