I have a new laptop, I have installed Office Professional 2007 and I have
loaded my Contacts details, Calendar details etc from my PDA using sync.
These appear to have imported/downloaded correctly, but the effect has been
to drastically slow the whole Outlook process. When switching from Mail to
Calendar, or Contacts, even when moving from Inbox to Sent etc, this can
take 7 to 12 seconds or more each time. No other slowing of performance has
been noticed (Yet) on any other Office programmes. I have removed and
re-installed all of the Office programmes, collected and installed all of
the updates from Microsoft and carried out a complete defrag of the hard
drive.
Still the Outlook programme runs v e r y s l o w. Has anyone any
suggestions please?
