Just hang in Andrew and stick up for your rights. Keep proving you can
do the job and just to cover, keep good notes. I'm constantly at war
with managers who think their position gives them carte blanche to push
people around who don't happen to meet some arbitrary standard of age or
beauty.  The sad thing is many of them won't realize their folly until
they are in the same situation...a few [short] years from now.  As long
as you're enjoying what you're doing and are getting out of it what you
need, stay the course and if they take you out, make sure to go kicking
and screaming.

As a 64 yr old (turning 65 at the end of the year) *I* know there's
plenty of life ... and learning ... in the old dog yet.  But how to
convince employers? Especially my current one, who seems to think they
have me over a barrel, lol.
