thanks. more of our systems are coming down. it looks like we did pick
up a blaster virus and maybe the lovesan thing as well.  I'm patching
and updating several systems right now with MacAfee Stinger (Avert)
application & windows updates/patches. our IT department is swamped.
today is turning out to be a total disaster. my computer, so far, is
untouched but I'd just updated/patched not too long ago so hopefully I'm
safe. /gl

Viruses do not affect Novell servers (that's why I love their technology
- I'm Novell admin), but can be passed on to PCs. they'll have to look
into it or you run the anti-virus checker at workstations to see if it's
the problem, blaster won't bother Win98/95 either....

I am currently having email and net problems with my ISP, everything
running slow...may be the 2nd blaster wave hitting the servers. hang in
there 3hrs of workday left! <paul>
