Linda I knew you had to be lurking out there and would soon be here Its been a
long time from here to Word97 HUH! I am just way to busy to be here so was just
on vacation till. I want to go on a trip and need the lap-top for work but it
didn't work so last couple days its been pulling my one hair and its still not
working with anything including 2007!!
I have did almost everything one can do!
Run Winword.exe /a it is there
Startup folder Nothing
Template Nothing
Normal.Dot Nothing
Deleted it out Reloaded 2000 Premium Nothing helped
Reinstalled 2003 Called Microsoft spend hours
Was told to up date to SP# Nothing better
Got 2007 installed it same thing!!!
I've redid ?? to 2003
I've Did The registry found nothing there!?? That I could recognize
I got the Eraser 2k Now from your page which I could not find till now?
I will Erase and start from scratch!!!! If not its over the hill I guess?
But its got to be fixable some way I have even deleted about 1/2 the software
out
of the computer so nothing there should be bothering it!
Thanks Much Linda I have missed being here but other things are some times more
important!

I've been replying to this since yesterday and none of my replies are coming
thru for some reason. So, I'm trying again.
Gene ... read this and try everything here, in the order listed ... if your
normal.dot isn't causing the problem, it's very possible it's the data key
in your registry or something in your Word startup folder, so pay special
attention to that.

Your right on here But its not the Normal.Dot that's giving the problem as I
have
deleted it more than once and started over.
Still have not found the problem!
