[mso] O2K3 messed up...

All of a sudden, my Outlook 2003 is acting up.
 
1) My categories are gone and only the default ones show up.  The contacts
still show my custom categories, but they're missing from the Master
Category list.
 
2)  I get the error "Cannot start the reminder service. Unable to show
reminders." when Outlook starts.
 
I believe these are related, but can't find anything that directly applies
in Google or M$ KB.
