[mso] Re: Note to members about our files section at smartgroups

On behalf of the members, thanks for letting us know. I've just joined the
files group as Christine McDonald had raised a question and said she was
putting a file there, and I thought I might be able to help, but I was
confronted with the "objectionable material" query. I still joined but
thankfully no files to cause concern.

Why are the files at Smartgroups, but the mailing list at freelists? Are
they one and the same? Just for curiosity reasons.

Thank you for all you do to make this forum work for us.

Best regards, John

Subject: [mso] Note to members about our files section at smartgroups

For any of you that use our files group at smartgroups, I want to
apologize. Somehow, our group has been flagged as including "adult
content" and when you go to the files section, you get this window telling
you that you are entering a group which could contain objectionable
material and you must click "yes" to say you are over 18. I don't know
how this happened becuz I monitor that group very carefully and I can
assure you that none of the files there are "objectionable". I sent an
email to smartgroups asking them to change this and that email bounced
back to me telling me that mailbox was over quota (LOL), but I will keep
trying. But, I just wanted to let you all know in case you see that and
wonder what's up.

Always something, eh?

Take care
