Hej Linda Changed both normal.dot to normalold.dot, and it worked thnxs what would we do without you -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Linda F. Johnson Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 7:35 PM To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Re: Not wanted picture in Document Knud...it sounds like the picture has gotten into your global template First, make sure Word is closed Search your hard drive for a file called normal.dot and rename it to normalold.dot or something like that....then reopen Word....it will create a new clean normal.dot...if the picture is gone, then that was the cause. Now...if you have a lot of custom toolbars and macros and settings in Word, they also were stored in this normal.dot.....so, if you need to get your old normal.dot back, let us know....otherwise, you can just delete normalold.dot if your problem is solved Report back LOL Linda Publisher ~ ABC ~ All 'Bout Computers Owner ~ Linda's Computer Stop http://personal-computer-tutor.com FREE MS Office eBook Tutorial http://personal-computer-tutor.com/library.htm -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Knud R Boelt Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 9:15 PM To: MSOffice Subject: [mso] Not wanted picture in Document Not wanted picture in Document Hope someone can make some sense of the following The pic shows up every time I open Words (2000), in Doc. 1, if I delete it from Doc 1 it pops up on Doc 2 and if I click for a new Doc same thing , when I want to write ,I have to delete the pic (text) in Doc 1 do my work and then save as I scanned a newspaper clipping sent it to My Pictures folder.
