Linda,

When Norton comes across what it thinks may be a malicious script it
pops up a warning asking what you want to do about it.  There are some
choices like always block, let it run, quarantine etc.  I don't know
about vba specifically though.

Hey Echo...speaking of Norton....I know the latest version of Norton, by
default, blocks ALL vb scripts....do you know by any chance if it also
blocks vba scripts?

Dian, Greg, Vic, Hal, or anyone else who might know this...feel free to
jump in here also if you have any documentation on this.  I don't use
Norton so I don't know...but I think Vic told me that there was some
documentation somewhere about this and I would like to have it as a
resource for questions on this list if they come up.

Yes, certain versions of Acrobat and Norton AntiVirus have been
implicated in various Office program shutdown errors.
