Hi Errol,

One of the most important bits of info we need to know about Outlook is =
what
version, what service pack (if applicable) and whether you are attached =
to
Exchange server or just using POP3 mail.
Basically though, the answer to your question is that (depending on =
version)
Outlook 'learns' addresses that you've already typed and will offer you
those as you type the first few letters.
But you can also type a couple of letters and if the address in in your
Contacts, hit Ctrl-K for a list of possible matches.

Subject: [mso] New outlook user

Hi All
After playing around for years (literally) with MANY e-mail programs, I =
am
now starting to use Outlook. I'm sure there will be many stupid =
questions
from me so please be kind to the relative newbie. My first (and =
meanwhile
only) question is the desire to have Outlook complete the address when I
start typing a name in the "to" or "cc" box. If the name has been used
before outlook gives those options with the letters that are already =
typed.
Is there a way to make ALL the names with a particular letter to appear =
from
the contact list when starting to type a letter or name.
