The reason your post didn't come thru the first time is I have filters set
up at freelists that bounce all mail with the words "s*bscribe" and
"uns*bscribe" back to me for approval...that's why this is one of the few
lists you will see that DON'T have all those s*bscribers screaming
"uns*bscribe me" to the group. I was in bed when yours came thru so I just
approved it now..sorry bout that.
Anyway....this group sounds like a great idea...also...I have discovered
some settings in Freelists setup for my groups, that may fix some of this
stuff...I've just been too chicken to change anything...but now that you
have a freelists group, go into the setup for your group and look at this
stuff:
Well, I wanted to go there and copy/paste it for you, but freelists appears
to be down right now....or else I'm having my old problem of not being able
to get to their site again *sigh*...anyway, go into your list setup and look
at the settings for "quoteprintable" etc....maybe there's something in there
that I can change so people in this group won't have to go into their
registries if that scares them.
As soon as freelists is back up for me, I will definitely go check out your
group and join in the fun :-)
