well this is a mouthful lol.... off the top of my head I would work on
programming a pivot table (although the grouping of the days /week end would be
interesting.... alternatively i would add another column specifying weekday or
weekend that you can then add to... the next question would be what is the
output.. another worksheet? workbook? pivot table is probably your best bet
(with the added column..)

I want to convert this to a worker, weekend and total hours
Weekday
and total hours
(weekend and weekday needs to be separated for pays)
Is it possible to write a macro that will do this.
I'll give some sample data
Joe Bloggs Tue 3
Joe Bloggs Wed 2
Joe Bloggs Wed 2
Joe Bloggs Sat 1
Sally Duffield Wed 5
Sally Duffield Sat 2
Sally Duffield Sat 3
Sally Duffield Sun 2
Max Hax Mon 1
Max Hax Tue 1.5
I want the result to print out in a list like this:
Joe Bloggs Weekend 1
Weekday 7
Sally Duffield Weekend 7
Weekday 5
Max Hax Weekend 0
Weekday 2.5
I have no idea how to do this!
Thanks guys.
Jeff
